In the next few days I had my PR stamped.

I would like to thank Mr. David Chua and his staff at Newland Migration Services for their kind and helpful assistance. Especially for Mr. Chua, he gave me a numerous good suggestions to deal with the problems I encountered with my previous solicitor when applying for Permanent Resident status.

As an international student who wanted get a permanent  Australian visa, I decided to apply though a solicitor whom I thought offered good service. In contrast, I was upset because the services were below standard and distort the promise. I paid a lot of money for ineffective services.

Briefing, before signing the contract with her, she promised to give me good suggestions, prepare all the necessary documents and the most important thing was follow up the progress  with DIMIA. The follow up issue was very important for me as I had a time limit. Unfortunately, she did not do as she promised.

Although, she helped me prepare the documents, she did not follow up with NAATI and DIMIA. She kept saying that it is dangerous to chase up with DIMIA because they would get upset, which I think is not reasonable.

Luckily I terminated her contract and went through Newland Migration Services. Mr. David Chua did a very splendid job. He gave me lots of good suggestions and the best is he followed up with DIMIA for me. Finally, I got Permanent Resident visa less than 10 days after he took care of my case. It is a very remarkable event for me.
